Here are the profiles of Analysis Team’s management team: Dave Stark Steve Rockey Steven Humphrey Doug Pearce Bill Hamilton
Dave Stark founded Analysis Team in 1995, with a focus on bringing a real-world business management perspective to an area traditionally lacking this. He has guided the evolution of the organization from its initial focus on Essbase, the landmark On Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) tool, to a much broader scope covering numerous analysis, reporting and planning applications and Business Intelligence strategy. Given Dave’s beliefs in client self-sufficiency and in making technology easy to apply for the everyday user, he has also conducted innumerable end-user training classes and coached dozens of in-house developers. A sought-after speaker on Business Intelligence, Dave presents to various audiences, such as software user conferences, professional groups, and attendees of Business Intelligence seminars. In 2005, he appeared as expert witness for plaintiffs in the 2005 WorldCom Securities Litigation trial, providing testimony on WorldCom’s corporate financial reporting system and its role in detecting accounting fraud during the 2001 audit by Arthur Andersen. Before transitioning to outside consulting, Dave had substantial financial management experience in technology firms ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Immediately prior to starting Analysis Team, Dave was Chief Financial Officer of an early-stage Silicon Valley developer of navigation technology, where he built formal financial management processes and helped drive the commercialization of the firm’s patented technology. Before that, he was Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Wyse Technology, a manufacturer of computer systems and terminals. This followed Dave’s strong career foundation in accounting and financial analysis roles at technology giants IBM (Rolm Division) and Digital Equipment Corporation. Dave holds a Bachelor’s Degree in finance and international business from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Back to top
