We have openings for consultants experienced in implementing Business Intelligence and Performance Management solutions. Positions are based in or near the San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles.

Position Summary

The Consultant works directly with our clients’ functional users and information systems professionals, leading all aspects of needs assessment, project management and client interface. This includes requirements and process analysis, project planning and implementation and client training. This is a highly independent, rewarding role, spanning diverse business issues and industries. Short-term overnight travel is required as needed.

Job Responsibilities Research and clarify business objectives and application specifications Design and build all business models, functional components and interfaces Develop project plans and manage projects Provide documentation and training to clients Participate in new business development

Required Background and Skills Minimum 3 years of design and deployment experience with one or more Business Intelligence software platforms/applications (Hyperion Essbase or Planning, and/or Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services strongly preferred) Minimum 4 years of financial analysis, business planning or related experience Strong Excel skills and business modeling experience Proven success managing people and projects Highly self-motivated with professional attitude Demonstrated abilities to work independently, meet deadlines and budgets Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Additional Experience Desired Experience designing, developing and implementing solutions with the following Hyperion products: EIS, Analyzer, and Reports Development experience with other business intelligence applications (for example Applix TM1) Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) with Excel Relational database development & query tools Arcplan, Temtec Executive Viewer, or other web-based Business Intelligence tools SQL, Perl, Java, JavaScript
